FAQ
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET MY ORDER?
Fine Art Prints & Aluminium Print Panels
Once I receive your order this is sent through to a professional photography and fine art print company. The order will usually take 2-4 days to be complete and then posted to you from them. Please allow 2-5 business days for this to be sent to you for customers in the UK, shipping to Europe 8 - 10 business days, and to the United States, Canada, Australia and rest of the world: approximately 10 - 14 business days. International orders are dispatched by Airmail, delivery times will depend on where the order is being sent.
Original Paintings
Paintings are professionally packed before being dispatched by a reputable delivery company/courier. Please allow 1-3 business days for UK delivery, 3-5 for European countries and up to 10 days for the rest of the world.
HOLIDAY SEASON ORDERS
If you're wanting an order to arrive in time for Christmas, please order before 15th December, 5pm UK time. This should arrive in time for Christmas but cannot be guaranteed if the order is for customers in Europe or the Rest of the World.
LOCAL IMPORT TAXES
Local Import Taxes and fees for countries outside the UK and EU are the responsibility of the buyer.
WHAT IF MY ORDER IS DAMAGED?
This is always unlikely due to the quality of packaging. However, in the unlikely event that it does you can refuse the package or have the delivery company mark the shipment as 'received damaged'. Do take photographs of the damaged parcel and artwork and send them to me via email. I will provide you with a return address to ship the damaged goods back.
CAN I COLLECT THE ORDER FROM YOU?
If you wish to pick up an order from me please contact me via email.
DO YOU ACCEPT RETURNS IF I AM NOT HAPPY WITH MY ARTWORK?
I accept returns on all my original paintings if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase. If this applies to you, please contact me so I can provide you with a return address. You must return it within 14 days - no questions asked. You will be fully refunded. However, you will need to send the painting back in the original packaging and cover the cost of return shipping (and insurance applicable).
Unfortunately, I do not accept returns on Fine Art prints or Aluminium Print Panels unless they are damaged.
WHAT ABOUT FRAMING?
Unless listed as framed, all prints are unframed. Frames are a personal choice as is a choice of mount. I suggest you buy a frame and mount on receiving your print. You will need to factor in losing 2-3mm of the print when framed with or without a mount. Framing options from printers significantly increases costs to the work and would necessitate some additional fee for delivery, so more often than not you will save money by choosing your own frame and/or mount buying online, or taking your print to your local framer (for mounting and/or buying a frame). There are some very reasonably priced, good quality frames online and available at all framers - just as there are some more expensive and unique frames for you to choose to make the work stand out and suit your specific environment. If you would like some advice or are willing to pay extra and me choose a frame based on your needs get in touch and I'll see how I can help.
ARE YOU ABLE TO PROVIDE A CUSTOM ORDER FOR FINE ART PRINTS?
I am happy to liaise with you to have a custom print made to an alternative size so please contact me if you're interested. For smaller versions this can often be straightforward and will involve a small additional fee. For larger versions than the maximum stated in the shop, costs can increase quite significantly and in the case of some images of certain work, may not be possible. I will always try so please get in touch and I will respond to you as soon as I can and help as much as I can.
WHAT IS A COMMISSIONED PAINTING?
A commissioned painting is specifically tailored to the requirements of a client.
HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE FOR COMMISSIONS?
The cost of a commission will depend on the size, media, time taken to produce the piece and finally the delivery location of the work(s). The agreed price will include all these factors. I can work to a brief and will work to a budget.
DO YOU PRODUCE REPLICA PAINTINGS OF YOUR WORK?
I don't as each piece is unique and could never be recreated the same again. This is the main reason why I sell open edition prints of my original work. If you would like something similar, but inevitably different, please contact me and we can take it from there.
WHEN WILL I PAY?
When the commission and price is agreed I will request a non-refundable deposit accounting for the cost of materials (e.g canvas, board, additional paints required) and no more than third of the final price before undertaking any work. The remaining balance will be requested prior to shipping and delivery of your work.
CAN I REVIEW THE COMMISSION?
Absolutely! I'malways keen to ensure that you are very happy with the direction of the commission and will send you regular updates (photographs) at key stages. I will then send a photo of the finished piece prior to shipping in case any final changes need to be made. A commission is a dialogue and if at any point a client wishes to see progress I will send photographic updates.
CAN I CANCEL A COMMISSION?
You can cancel a commission at any time. However, if the work has begun and you have paid an initial deposit this unfortunately cannot be refunded.
HOW ARE COMMISSIONS DELIVERED?
All commisoned work will be sent via secure delivery, or if you are within Greater Manchester I can deliver this to you directly or you can collect it from me.
If the item is to be delivered securely by courier you will be notified of dispatch and delivery dates.
DO YOU WORK WITH INTERIOR DESIGNERS?
I am always happy to work with or for interior designers. If you like my work and are an interior designer please get in touch if you would like me to work with or for you to produce a piece of work, or a series of work for your project.
